Links between Derby and Hebron, cities of a similar size, have grown since 2014, when Derby City Council agreed to become a “Sister City” of Hebron through a Memorandum of Understanding which proposed a cultural, political and economic exchange based on shared values of tolerance and respect, with a particular focus on education.
